"Hidden gem! We were travelling from Ipoh to Taiping when the kids were hungry and this restaurant happened to be just by the road side. Kunafa was really good (not too sweet like most Arabic restaurants do it). The lamb Mandy was really fragrant and drinks also tasted good."

"We have been coming to this restaurant for a year now on our road trip. The food tasty, ambiance is comfy, the restaurant staff is friendly and will answer any questions about their food. I will recommend anyone who wants to try something new and if you are on the north-south highway, want to avoid RnR food, this place is 15 minutes from Kuala Kangsar exit. A must try is their hummus and grill platter."

"When I entered this restaurant, I was surprised. The waiter asked me kindly at the door. Coincidentally, I randomly celebrated my birthday here. How happy I was, I was greeted with the Arabic version of the happy birthday song while being greeted enthusiastically by the very friendly staff. I was personally very moved and happy. Thank you Al Basha Restaurant. Delicious food, great service. I will never forget this restaurant"

"Took my wife and family here since my nephew studied in Kuala Kangsar. Lov3sthe decor and the ambience. Looks luxurious and surprising for a restaurant in a small town. Ordered the 4 pax set and extra jug of juice and ice cream. The portion is delicious and a quiet a lot so much so that two college age kids have to bring extra food (mixed grill and basmati rice with mutton) home. The meals are flavorful and fresh and suits our taste. Owner is nice and friendly. Overall will recommend this place ,"
